Frequently asked
How is my BMI calculated?
Using the standard WHO formula (weight in kg ÷ height in m²). Your healthy-weight range is derived from the WHO BMI thresholds of 18.5–24.9.
What is the “ideal body weight” figure?
It's calculated with the Devine formula, the same standard used in medicine, based on the height and sex you set in Settings. It's a general reference point, not a personal target prescribed for you.
How are my blood-pressure readings classified?
Each reading is shown against clinical guidelines — Normal, Elevated, High (Stage 1) and High (Stage 2) — and your chart marks the 120 and 140 systolic thresholds so you can see your trend in context.
Do I need an account? Is it free?
No account, and yes — it's free, with no subscriptions and no ads.
Is my health data private?
Completely. Everything stays on your device — no cloud sync, no tracking, nothing sent to us. See the Privacy Policy.
What do MIN, AVG, MAX and CHANGE mean?
They summarise the period you're viewing: the lowest and highest readings, the average, and how much the metric has changed across that window.
Can the app give me medical advice?
No. Fovcus Vitál is a wellness tracker, not a medical device. The figures are for general information — always speak to a doctor about your readings or any health concern.
Health disclaimer. Fovcus Vitál is a personal tracking tool for general wellness, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or advise on any condition. Always consult a doctor about your weight, blood pressure or any health concern, and seek medical help if you are worried about a reading.
